Halloween Weekend!

I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend! Mine has been great so far :) Just wanted to share a few pictures with you, enjoy! :) Oh, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Hope you have fun at all your parties.

Last night, Sam and I ate at Automatic Slim's

in Downtown Memphis. He had never been before,

so I knew we needed to go!! It was amazing! I had

the Redfish and Sam had a chicken entree.

We ordered a different type of red wine last night

and it was amazing!! I had to get a photo with it ;)

I can't get over how LONG my hair has gotten.

I actually want to keep going and see how long

I can get it without it driving me insane! :)

Thanksgiving is around the corner!

I am so very excited about Thanksgiving in a few weeks! I love this time of the year, because my entire family gets to hang out and just relax with one another. I also love Thanksgiving, because my Mom and I spend the entire weekend putting up Christmas decorations and the trees!  It is all SO very exciting. I have a few recipes I plan to try out this year! Of course, I got them off Pinterest.

                            

These are Pumpkin Donuts. I think these would be perfect for Thanksgiving morning, etc. I have not tasted these or ever made these, but I plan to make them sometime over Thanksgiving break.

 

                                     

These look absolutely amazing to me!  Who does not enjoy a pumpkin muffin filled with cream  cheese on the inside? YUM!

 

 

                     

When I saw this recipe, I knew I wanted to try it. It is full of carbs, etc., but I DO NOT CARE. It is Thanksgiving, people! You can enjoy the extra calories every now and then ..I am not a sweet potato eater, so this Twice Baked Potato casserole would be awesome as a side dish for everyone!

Cheeba the famous Cat...

If you do not know, my boyfriend has a cat...Yes, he's a dude with a cat...GETOVERIT. ;)
The first time S and I started dating, I hated the cat! I used to sneeze, my eyes would water, my nose and eyes would itch, my legs would get red hives,etc. It was CLEARLY obvious that I had a Cat allergy or something. I asked my Mom about it later and she said, " Yeah, when you were a little girl, you were allergic to cats." Great...I'm dating a guy, who has a cat, that I'm allergic to....What am I going to do??" Over time, I would little by little start to get over it, and now I'm completely fine with him! I love that kitty more than anything! He's so funny and such a snob. He ONLY will let S pet him on his nose, will not eat certain things, whines and cries until you pet him, loves to be in an enclosed space, and thinks the sofa has his name on it...Seriously, he's a snob...Have I mentioned how F-A-T he is? He's huuuge..He literally needs to be put on Weight Watchers for Kitty cats or something ;) I found these photos in Sam's phone last night, so I HAD to share them with you!! :) Enjoy! MEOOOW

MIA...

I apologize for the lack of posts lately. I have been getting up at 5:00 every morning, driving 40 mins to teach, driving home, doing homework, and going to bed...I know...Sounds exciting huh?? I have seriously not had a chance to blog once! I have missed you all! S and I are getting ready to leave to head to the farm for the night. We need a get away trip for a little while. Granted...It's only 1 1/2 away, but it beats being in Memphis! ha! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE living in Memphis, but the hustle and bustle of everyday life can sometimes wear you out. I LOVE going to the farm and enjoying the peace and quiet of nature, etc. I hope you all have been doing great and enjoying this cooler weather! It's lower 60's today and I am loving every bit of it! I can't wait for bon-fire weather ;) Hope you all had a great start to the weekend and have an even BETTER Saturday!!! :)

P.S. My boots are in!!!!!! It has only taken a MONTH! ugh...I will be going by Joseph's this afternoon sometime to pick them up!!!!
